The Fox Den cordially invites you to the next workshop in our Fox Den Learn series: Navigating Play Parties & Sex Positive Spaces on Saturday 13 April 2024. 🧡
I have been in the sex positive scene since 2015 and have had the privilege of running The Fox Den for the past two and a half years. Over that time, we've hosted over 125 events from pub socials to play parties giving me the opportunity to speak to, and observe, thousands of people in the wild with fascinating insights into human behaviour. I am blessed to speak to dozens of new people every week on my Fox Den new member vetting calls, and have noticed the same questions pop up over and over again: What can I expect at a sex positive event? How can I best prepare? How can I interact with others in a way that makes them feel comfortable? And what are the mistakes I see people making at Fox Den events?
I am personally very excited about this workshop as I will be leading it! One of my many careers pre-Fox Den was as a professional facilitator and trainer and I have been yearning to get back into teaching. I am also a yogi of 25 years and did my yoga teacher training in Goa 12 years ago. I believe my background in supporting people as well as my Fox Den experience gives me a unique perspective that can help other humans navigate these spaces in a positive way. ❤️
My goal with this workshop is to give people skills and tools to approach sex positive events with more awareness to create a safer event for them and other guests. I will do that by leading participants through a series of individual, paired and group exercises that will:
Share how to prepare mentally and physically for sex positive events.
Give you the confidence to attend sex positive spaces especially going solo.
Explore ways to grow your emotional intelligence and ability to “read the room” at events.
Share practical ways to build your skills to approach and talk to strangers with confidence.
Give you a range of ideas, tools and practises that you can bring into your exploration of the sex positive scene.
The workshop is open to max 40 people (non-members welcome) and is hosted at the spacious MoreYoga studio in Cannon Street in central London. After the workshop we will head to a local bar for an early evening drink. 🍺
Location, timings and cost:
MoreYoga, 40 Cannon St, Queen St Pl, London EC4R 1DD.
Arrivals: 1.45pm for a 2pm start.
Close: 5.30pm. Followed by a drink in a local pub.
Cost: £40 + VAT per person which includes light refreshments. (There are five 50% discounted spaces available for members who cannot afford the workshop fee. Please drop me a line if you would like to apply for one giving your membership details.)
