Meet the new craze: acro-Yoga meets shibari!
About Fuoco
Fuoco began her rope journey as a bottom in Phoenix three years ago. Since then she had the good fortune to spend a year in London, where she gained exposure to the broader European rope scene and had the opportunity to work with some incredibly talented bottoms and riggers. She is switchy in rope and a vocal advocate for rope bottoms.
When she's not doing rope, Fuoco works full time as a teacher of aerial circus arts, yoga, and contortion and as a circus performer, thus she is constantly training to build strength and flexibility. Her dedicated studies of the mechanics of the body make her especially interested in exploring and understanding movement as it affects rigging and bottoming.

Class description
Explore the new craze! Acro-yoga is a physical practice combining yoga and acrobatics.
Partners base and fly each other through poses and transitions, developing trust, non-verbal communication skills, and body awareness.
The practice is playful, fun, and suitable for anyone of any level of fitness or skill.
In her personal life, fuoco teaches acro yoga weekly, and will happily guide you through the basics of flying, basing, and spotting within an acro-yoga flow, both unbound and bound!
Within this workshop we will explore movement, interpersonal dynamics, proprioception, and non-verbal communication within various modalities of acro yoga with the intent of developing skills transferrable to rope.
All levels of experience (both rigging and acro-ing) are welcome.
During this workshop, you will work in small groups, with everyone having the chance to base, fly, and spot each other, so feel free to come solo!
