The DV8 pony club are pleased to announce their dates for this season. The first is Sunday 24th May and the second is Saturday 8th August, both from 12 noon until 6pm. Please put the dates in your diary now. We put in a Sunday date as we know some of you have to do boring stuff like work on Saturdays!.
For those that have not yet visited the site the facilities at DV8 are fantastic with a large level (ish!) grass area and a great 500m secluded woodland circuit. After giving you all time to get your ponys’ muscles warmed up and the rust off your carts we will have some fun events like jousting and the pony obstacle course to test both your pony and your driving skills. If you just want to do your own thing then no problem.
Cost is just £20 for singles and £25 for couples. Some very tasty snacks and drinks are available throughout the afternoon. There are proper loos and changing areas.
There will be plenty of spare tack and carts available to borrow and plenty of friendly help and advice if needed. All are welcome. Singles and couples of whatever orientation. If you have never done this before, don't worry, there will be experienced people there to help you out and get started. You don't to have any kit at all, we can fit you out, just bring yourself and your enthusiasm. I hope we can have a great turnout and look forward to seeing you all there, where you will be assured of a very friendly welcome by the DV8 crew and myself.
